Built for a wet deck
The face is polyester and the back is non-slip rubber, so it stays where you put it when the boat is moving and does not slide out from under you in chop. It takes salt, sun and flip-flops. When it needs cleaning you hose it off or spot clean it and leave it to dry.
Printed hard, not stitched
The artwork is UV printed onto the surface and cured, which is what keeps a design on something that gets walked on. Thread would not survive underfoot, and a heat transfer would lift at the edges the first wet season. There is nothing raised to catch a toe or a mop.
